One Piece Resin Molds
- 7 degree open side walls to allow for an easy release from the mold
- This is a one piece form with no welds so you will never have to worry about a leak 
- These forms have flex in them and may need additional clamps. They are manufactured so they will not crack overtime, but because of the flexibility they may need some additional clamps so your project comes out flat. 
- If using Mold release in this form, it will help get your project out of the forms easier 

NO SEAL 
- Does not require silicone and is one solid form with no assembly required
- Does not come with any dividers or clamps
- The walls on these forms are tapered downwards for any easy release. The dimensions listed are true to the bottom of the form and what size wood you will be able to fit inside  
- These forms have welded edges and may crack after several uses. This can simply be fixed with some silicone to avoid leaks. 

Simply tap the form with a rubber mallet to release the cured epoxy. Use caution around the corners of the form. Tap the middle portion of the walls and you will hear your pour 'release' from the form wall breaking away (When the form releases from the epoxy, it makes a loud “crack” when hit). The No Seal and One piece molds both have tapered walls which allows for easy release when getting your project out of the form.

Use this Mold Release to make your project pop out of your form easier 

Yes this is normal. These forms are designed to have flexibility in it so that your piece can pop out easily. 

We simply use clamps to make sure the wood piece sits flat to the bottom of the form. Depending on the layout of your wood will depend on you clamp it down. See this video HERE for an example. If you still notice a slight twist in your piece before pouring, Clamp it to your table. Once the clamps are removed after the Resin has cured, the flex in the form will make it easy to pop our your finished piece. 

One Piece Resin Molds:
- 2 clamping strips + Hardware
- 4 Clamping Blocks

No Seal: 
- In your box you should expect just the form. Clamps, dividers and hold down bars are not included.
- If you would like to add a divider , you can use a strip of HDPE and silicone it in, or cover plywood with tuck tape and silicone this in to make the form smaller. 

ReSealable: 
- Integrated T-Track System included
- Hold down Bars (so hold down the wood in the form)
- All sizes come with hold down bars
- All sizes (EXCEPT 18" x 10") come with a divider

One Piece:We have gotten 30+ uses out of one form so far with no issues. We still continue to test every week 

No Seal:These forms are built to get 10+ uses. We have heard of customers getting 30+ projects from one form. The sides are welded so use caution when tapping it out of the form. If the form welds crack overtime you can use Silicone in the damaged area and continue to use the form!

Silicone Forms:

It is recommend to NOT use any mold release or lubricant in these forms. 

Typically you should get 5+ uses out of these forms. Make sure to use high quality resin brands that are reputable. Before removing if you are having difficulty slightly heat up the sides with a torch or heat gun before slowly pealing back and removing your project

We offer a Lifetime Guarantee against any manufacturing defects that lead to cracks / leaks. These forms were designed, built and tested to withstand your resin projects allowing you to hit the form with a soft mallet and not have them break overtime. 

Our warranty does not cover any defect caused by improper use of our moulds and the products used with them. We can not honour the warranty if you use table top/shallow pour epoxies.

We recommend to use the following resins with our forms:

• Ecopoxy FlowCast 
  
• Squid Poxy Deep / Cast / Fast 

If you would like to prolong the lifespan of your mold, you can use this Mold Release

Yes and No:

These molds are constructed from HMWPE (High Molecular Weigh Polyethylene) which is a smooth surface that high quality, slow curing resins won’t stick to. Once your epoxy/resin piece has cured, simply tap the sides and then the bottom to release your piece. To help prolong the lifespan of your mold we recommend this Mold Release. It is also best practice to use this Mold Release when using other brands of resin that we do not sell on our website.

1/8" or less = UV POXY 1" or less = SPR / Super Clear 24 Hour  3/4" to 1.5" deep = FLOW CAST 1" - 4" = Super Clear Liquid Glass

The maximum recommended thickness per layer is 1.5" , but other factors listed below make it bit more complicated:

• It depends on the total volume of the epoxy you are pouring as well as the room temperature
• To avoid the product from overheating, if you are pouring more then 20L at a time you should break up the pour into multiple layers of about 1" per layer
• Your ideal temperature to pour in for any project under 20L is between 65 - 75 degrees Fahrenheit (18 - 24 Celsius)

If you go any resin listing and scroll down until you see our calculator where you can type in the dimensions of the area you are pouring. It will tell you the exact amount (but does not compensate for waste. Make sure to add 10 - 15%) CLICK HERE to use the calculator. 

You can also use the below formula (In Inches): This tells you the exact amount you in need in LITRES

(Length) x (Width) x (Thickness) = XDivide this total (X) by 61 = Total amount of epoxy needed to fill the area

We always add 10 - 15 % more to compensate for any epoxy that might soak into the grain of the wood, leak or spill. It is also good to have extra to top off the pour if it sinks down within the first 8 hours (Which is common when is soaks into the wood grain).

How to convert litres of epoxy to weight: For ecopoxy flowcast, 1 Liter of hardener weighs 850 grams and 1 liter of resin weighs 1000 grams. So if you need 6 Liters total, you will want to use 1700 (850 x 2) grams of hardener and 400 grams of resin (1000 x 4)

If the Product is anything less than crystal clear DO NOT pour. There is nothing wrong with the product but it just needs to be heated up. Place the jug in a sink of hot water for 15 - 30 minutes to allow it to come back to it's liquid state.

Crystallization, Cloudiness or Gelling

On occasion the Resin (Part A) can build up crystallization / Gel in the container. It’s rarely the customer or the retailer's fault but often we ship these products via freight and they end up in cold storage for part of the trip meaning crystallization. Due to our manufacturing processes at this time it is possible for Gelling and Crystallization to happen, this often depends on temperature.

Once even a single crystal has formed it can seed the rest of the resin even if stored at a normal temperature until the entire jug is solidified. This can cause curing issues though generally it’s just the cloudiness and solidified product that you’re seeing. 

All you need to do is heat up the resin and it will completely clear out and liquify fully. Allow the Product to cool again to working temperature before use.

If you can Climate control an area we recommend 50-70c for 8 hours or 120-140f

All resin brands can have different ratio pours so make sure to read carefully the instructions on your container before pouring. These are the pour ratio's for the resin we sell on our website

Super Clear Resin Ratio:

• 2:1 ratio (2 Parts of A resin to 1 Part B of Hardener)

Ecopoxy Flow Cast Ratio:

• 2:1 ratio (2 Parts of A resin to 1 Part B of Hardener)

Ecopoxy UVPoxy:

• 1:1 ratio (1 Parts of A resin to 1 Part B of Hardener)

Dry times vary greatly due to the circumstances of the poured area such as temperature, humidity levels, temperature of the product and thickness of the pour.

FlowCast: 72 Hours depending on temperature, humidity and thickness. Ideal pouring temperature is 21-27ºC (70-80ºF)

UVPoxy: 48 Hours. Ideal pouring temperature is 21-27ºC (70-80ºF)

Note: When pouring over 6-9 gallons at a time with casting resin, using fans to aerate the air in the room will help the resins cure better, more consistently & will help prevent any exothermic heat reaction.

Reasons could be: Low temperature, Off-ratio mixing, Insufficient mixing, High humidity, Incorrect resin or hardener, Incorrect product for that specific project. Off-Ratio Mixing: If your ratio’s are even slightly off, by either adding too much or too little hardener this will result in affecting the cure time of the batch or having it cure at all. High Humidity Levels: High humidity levels over 75% can also cause product curing issues. Incorrect resin or hardener: Using different lines of our products together can definitely cause under curing or overreacting resins. Insufficient mixing: Always mix thoroughly with a drill and slow speed mixer for at least 3-4 minutes. You may not have mixed long enough for the resin and hardener to properly mix together

Yes we do price match for any Ecopoxy Product.

If you are looking to make a hole with an 1/8" radius on the bottom we recommend this bit (link here). We use this bit in the example projects for our Valet Tray, Salt Cellar and Mancala Board online.

We go to a depth of 1/4" when filing the area with Clear Fast Resin.

These templates have a protective plastic on them. Once that is pealed off there should be no / minimal scratches on your template. 

The edges should be smooth as they are laser cut. If there is any damage on your template after delivery has been made, please respond to your order confirmation with a photo of your template so we can get this issue sorted for you. 

We sell two brands of pigments. They each offer different products best for different uses listed below:

Beaver Dust Series

• Pearl Collection: This metallic series is best used to get a pearlescent effect in your resin pours.
• Star Collection: This series has a slight shimmer and 'sparkle' effect when added to a pour.
• Chameleon Collection: Each product name is defined by the two tone colour shift effect it will give once poured. 
• Ghost Collection: Best used when mixed with a dark base colour.

Ecopoxy Series

• Metallic Pigments : Can be used for deeper pours (IE River tables / wall art etc.) or thinner pours (IE Epoxy Art / table top coats etc.)
• Liquid Pigments : Gives a matte finish where you can easily achieve an opaque transparency with only a few drops

Black Diamond Series

• Metallic Pigments : Can be used for deeper pours (IE River tables / wall art) or thinner pours (IE Epoxy Art / table top coats etc.)
• Diamond Pigments : Can be used for deeper pours or thinner pours. Any pigment with "diamond" in the name will give a bit more of a 'glitter' effect than the metallic pigments.
• Lux / Galaxy Pigments : These are a heavier mica powder pigment that is best for thinner pours (1/8" thick)
  
• Glow Pigments : This Pigment is UV activated and glows in the dark. If mixed with other pigments that do not glow, it will dull / block the glow effect 

Suggested : 1/8 teaspoon per 1litre will give you medium transparency  

A little bit of pigment goes a long way. We suggest to add a small amount to your pour and add a little bit at a time while throughly mixing in-between until you achieve the desired look. 

Make sure you are mixing throughly scraping the sides, bottom of your container and stir stick. You don't want the pigment to settle to the bottom of your container leaving large amount of flecks not stirred into the epoxy.

Transparency: 

• Translucent effect: Add a small amount of pigment so that you are able to see through your pour. 
• Opaque effect: Add more pigment so you won't be able to see through your pour. Remember the pigment will be more concentrated in your mixing container than when you pour it out. 

To get an idea of how translucent it is, take a popsicle stick (or your stir device) and stick it into the container the depth of what you are pouring (IE if you are pouring 1.5" thick, put your popsicle stick in 1.5" deep into your cup). If you can see the end of it that means your pour will still be translucent and you will be able to see through it. Add more pigment until you can not see the end of the stir stick if you are looking for an opaque look. 

We recommend one of the two oil finishes below depending on what your project is: 

Rubio Monocoat Oil

• This Product is best for Furniture finish application
• It is a one coat oil that will give you a matte finish and only requires you to sand up to 150g
• 100ml size - Only comes with the Part A oil (Part B accelerator is not solid separately)
• 350ml / 1.3L come with a Part B accelerator which can be mixed at a 3:1 ratio to make for a faster cure time

Walrus Oil

Cutting Board Oil / Mineral Oil : Best for your charcuterie boards

• Sand between 320 - 600g

Furniture Finish : Best for finishing for your furniture projects

• Use on hardwoods sanded between 220 - 400g
• The lower the grit the deeper the oil will soak in. The higher the grit the smoother the wood will feel.

The combination of the Oil (Part A) and accelerator (Part B) guarantees a quick dry. If using Part B, mix 3 Parts oil to 1 part accelerator (3:1 Ratio). In a well ventilated room, the surface can be used 24 - 36 hours after the application. The oil will be 80% cured in 2 days and after 5 days the surface can be cleaned with water and a soft soap.

Rubio Monocoat 100ml does not come with the accelerator and it is not sold separately. If you are not using the accelerator then the oil will take a bit longer to fully cure (27 days). It can still be used after 48 hours - If anything spills on the surface make sure to wipe it up right away to prevent damage. If using Rubio oil for Furniture, charcuterie boards etc. we suggest to use the accelerator. If you are using the oil for projects such as Wood art pieces, then the Part B isn't as essential.

Rubio Monocoat is an oil finish intended to go on hardwood that are sanded to 150g max. 
The 350ml / 1.3L can comes with an accelerator that is a 3:1 Ratio to be used with the oil (PT A). You should only mix what you need for your project. Make sure to aggressively rub in the oil over the surface until your shop towel comes up dry. Watch this video and check out this post for reference

Our larger epoxy sizes are drop shipped from the Ecopoxy head office (20L UV and 30L / 60L Flow Cast). These orders take a bit longer to process (Aprox 4 - 8 business days). Once the Ecopoxy office sends us the tracking number for your shipment, we will forward it to you right away. If your order also has smaller items, we will be shipping that from our shop which you will receive tracking for.

Depending on your location, yes possibly. Taxes, Duties, and customs charges may be applied to your package as it arrives in the country of destination. This amount is not controlled by us, but since we properly declare the package, it may acquire an extra charge along the way. If the package is rejected upon delivery due to accumulated duties and taxes to your destination, you will not be eligible for a refund. 

If you have received a shipping notification, then the package has already left our warehouse and the address details can't be changed. At this point, you can contact info@jeffmacksupply.com to sort out the matter.

If you have included a valid email when checking out you will automatically be provided a tracking number. Please check your spam and junk folders as it may have ended up there. If you did not include a valid email, please contact us and we will forward you tracking information for your order. 

If a shipment gets lost, we will open up an investigation with the appropriate carrier and get the situation sorted as quickly as possible. Investigations can take up to one month depending on the carrier but we will do our best to get a replacement product out to you in a timely manner so you can continue on your project.

Orders that have been Shipped:
Unfortunately due to the items we ship, we do not accept any returns unless you are able to come to our Store location and return it. 

Purchases In Store: 
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it (I.E Un-opened / un-sanded / no cuts have been made to the wood products etc.)

• If 10 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange
• To complete your return, we require your name and order number
• If you are approved, your refund will be processed and the credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment (Typically within 3 - 5 business days)

Everything we have in stock is listed online. If we are currently sold out of a product, the best way to keep up to date on restock is subscribing to our email list on the item page and you will receive an email notification or Text Message when it is back in stock. 

We have larger slabs available for local customers only. Anything larger than what is listed online unfortunately is not available for shipping over the border. If you are located in Canada, we can ship you a larger slab (We require a minimum purchase of $2,500 before tax and shipping rates)
