Walnut, Maple + Cherry Butcher Block Strip Pack
Create a classic mixed hardwood cutting board with this curated walnut, maple, and cherry butcher block strip pack. This pack includes loose hardwood strips that can be glued, clamped, sanded, and finished into an approximate 12" x 9" cutting board.
This three-species pack combines some of the most popular hardwoods used in cutting board projects. Walnut adds rich dark brown tones, maple keeps the board bright and clean, and cherry brings warmth and natural colour to the design.
This is a great option for woodworkers, hobbyists, schools, makerspaces, and DIY customers who already have access to basic woodworking tools and want a ready-to-layout hardwood cutting board strip pack.
Why Walnut, Maple + Cherry?
Walnut, maple, and cherry create a balanced mixed hardwood cutting board design that feels classic without being plain. The maple adds contrast, the walnut adds depth, and the cherry softens the overall look with warm reddish-brown tones. Together, they make a versatile choice for kitchen boards, serving boards, handmade gifts, and beginner-friendly woodworking projects.

Important Project Note
This is a hardwood strip pack, not a finished cutting board. The strips are supplied as individual loose pieces of wood and are intended to be glued up, clamped, sanded, and finished by the customer.
This is not a no-tools craft kit. To complete the project, you will need additional tools and supplies such as wood glue, clamps, an orbital sander, sandpaper, and a food-safe finish.
Each strip is accurately cut, so the board can be carefully aligned during glue-up and the edges can be sanded smooth after the glue has cured. The finished size is approximate and may vary slightly after glue-up and sanding.
Natural colour and grain variation should be expected from strip to strip. Cherry can also darken naturally with age and exposure to light, while walnut and maple can vary in tone and grain from piece to piece.
