Empire Molds One Piece Resin Molds are premium reusable epoxy molds made for charcuterie boards, serving boards, river boards, trays, resin art, and small table-style pours. These molds are made from thicker 1/4" HMWPE material, include a built-in hold-down system, and are guaranteed for life against cracks and leaks when used properly with the recommended resin system.
This is the upgraded mold option compared to our Black Edition molds. Choose these Guaranteed for Life molds when you want a heavier-duty one-piece resin mold, built-in hold-down hardware, stronger long-term value, and a more durable setup for repeated epoxy projects.
Why Choose the Guaranteed for Life One Piece Resin Mold?
These molds are designed for makers who want a reusable epoxy form that can handle repeated use in the shop. Instead of building a new melamine form, taping seams, sealing corners, and hoping your project does not leak, this one-piece mold gives you a cleaner and more reliable setup for wood and resin projects.
- Guaranteed for life: Covered against cracks and leaks when used properly with the recommended resin system.
- One-piece thermal formed construction: No welds, no seams, and fewer failure points compared to assembled forms.
- Made from 1/4" thick HMWPE: Sturdy enough for repeated use while still flexible enough to help release cured projects.
- Built-in hold-down system: Includes hold-down bars, hardware, and clamping blocks to help secure wood during your pour.
- 7-degree open side walls: Designed to help make demolding easier after the epoxy has cured.
- Pour up to 3" deep: Great for deeper resin pours, river boards, charcuterie boards, and small table-style projects.
- Ideal for hobbyists and professionals: A strong choice for DIY makers, resin artists, woodworkers, and small production shops.
Important Warranty Note
For the best results, we recommend using EcoPoxy FlowCast with these molds. The lifetime guarantee cannot be honoured if table top or shallow pour epoxies are used for deep pours.
Use the correct epoxy for your pour depth and always follow the epoxy manufacturer’s instructions for mixing, pouring, curing, and working conditions.
What’s Included?
Each Guaranteed for Life resin mold includes the mold and the hold-down components needed to help secure wood during your pour.
- 1 reusable one-piece resin mold
- 2 hold-down bars with hardware
- 4 clamping blocks
For faster layout and easier trimming after your pour, we also recommend using one of our Layout Templates.

Recommended Epoxy for These Molds
Because these molds are designed for pours up to 3" deep, choosing the correct epoxy is extremely important. For deeper pours, use a proper deep-pour casting epoxy rather than a table top coating epoxy.
| Epoxy Product | Best For | When to Choose It |
|---|---|---|
| EcoPoxy FlowCast | Deep pours, river boards, larger void fills, live edge projects, and casting projects | Choose FlowCast for deeper pours in these molds. This is the recommended resin for maintaining warranty eligibility. |
| EcoPoxy FlowCast SPR | Smaller projects and shallow pours up to 1" deep | Choose FlowCast SPR for smaller shallow pours, but do not use it as a deep-pour resin. |
| EcoPoxy UVPoxy | Flood coats, top coats, table coatings, and clear final coats | Choose UVPoxy for a clear top coat only. Do not use table top epoxy for deep pours in these molds. |
What Wood Should You Use in These Molds?
These one-piece resin molds work well with river sets, one-of-a-kind pieces, live edge offcuts, wood cookies, and properly prepared hardwood pieces. The wood you choose will define the final shape, movement, and overall look of the project.
River Sets
Use our river sets for wood and resin projects where the pieces are already selected to work well together. Shop 18", 24" and 36" River Sets.

|---|---|---|
| Guaranteed for Life One Piece Molds | Customers who want a thicker, premium one-piece mold with included hold-down hardware and lifetime crack/leak protection | Choose this option when durability, warranty coverage, and the built-in hold-down system matter most. |
| Black Edition One Piece Molds | DIYers, hobbyists, beginner resin projects, and budget-friendly reusable mold setups | Choose Black Edition when you want a lower-cost reusable mold option for common resin projects. |

Do You Need Mold Release?
Mold release is not always required, but it is recommended as a best practice to help prolong the life of your mold and make cleanup easier. Mold release is especially helpful when using resin systems that were not purchased from our website, since not all resin systems release the same way.
These molds are made from HMWPE, which has a smooth surface that high-quality, slow-curing resins are less likely to stick to when used properly. Once your epoxy piece has cured, gently tap the sides and bottom to help release your project.
Best Practices for Cleaner Pours
Always pour and cure on a flat, level, fully supported surface. Proper support helps keep the mold stable, reduces stress on the form, and helps create more consistent epoxy pours.
Use the included hold-down bars and clamping blocks to help secure your wood pieces so they do not float or shift during the pour. Take your time with layout before mixing epoxy.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Using the wrong epoxy: Use EcoPoxy FlowCast for deeper pours. Do not use table top epoxy as a deep-pour resin.
- Not securing the wood: Wood can float in epoxy. Use the included hold-down system and additional clamps when needed.
- Poor surface support: Do not pour on an unsupported or uneven surface.
- Rushing demolding: Let the epoxy cure properly before releasing the project from the mold.
- Skipping mold release when needed: Mold release is optional, but it can help extend mold life and make cleanup easier.
