Live Edge Rustic DIY Walnut Slabs: Perfect for Beginner Epoxy Projects

Unlock your creativity with our Live Edge Rustic DIY Walnut Slabs. Each slab is kiln-dried, flattened, debarked, and sanded to an 80-grit finish, making them an ideal starting point for your DIY projects. What makes these slabs unique are the natural voids, knots, and splits that give them a rustic charm. These features require a bit of extra attention and are perfect for those wanting to try their hand at using epoxy for the first time.

To preserve the thickness, we plane all slabs to 80%. Some areas might be a bit rougher and need additional sanding. But don't worry – one side of the slab is always planed 100% for your convenience.

For the best results, we recommend using Ecopoxy FlowCast SPR to fill the knots, cracks, and voids, and finish off your project with Walrus Oil- Cutting Board Oil to enhance the natural beauty of the walnut.

Please note that while the pictures show the type of slab you can expect, the exact slab you receive may vary. We take pride in personally inspecting each slab to ensure that it meets our high standards before shipping.

Jeff is one of my favorite go to guys for walnut and olive wood. ALWAYS extremely nice pieces of wood, planed flat, very little to no bark. Easy to work with as well. Even with the higher cost of shipping, it’s still a great deal and an excellent place for ALL of your wood needs! Highly recommend this ship and owner!
