Cookies, also known as live edge rounds, are a very desirable cut of wood that isn't always easy to find.
Cookies are great for building charcuterie boards, serving platter, small coffee tables, wall art and end tables.
We typically stock walnut and ash cookies. Every now and then we will get a small batch of cookies that are a little more rare or exotic, such as olive wood, pau ferro, canary wood and even some burls.

You can purchase Cookies in store at our Mississauga location or via our online store
All our cookies have been kiln dried and flattened.
These slabs are very DIY friendly and require minimal sanding before applying a finish of your choice.
Some cookies have cracks/splits which can easily be filled with epoxy or left as is.

Things to consider:
Will your piece require epoxy?
If your piece has voids or cracks, you may want to consider filling them to help stabilize the piece and make the piece more functional depending on its application.
Will your epoxy be clear or have a colour?
We offer a wide range of metallic pigments as well as liquid pigments.
What are you going to use to finish your board?
We recommend Walrus Oil Cutting Board Oil for all cutting and serving boards. If your piece is going to be used as a table or wall art, we would recommend using Rubio Monocoat Pure 2C Oil.
